Hey Robin - I agree 100%, and SK probably does, too!

I have only just started to dabble in Smashwords. I think it's got great potential, but exclusivity in the Kindle Select program has been worthwhile to me so far, so i have reenrolled for another 90 days. It's a bit easier to test the waters with Kindle, and use some of your free days to build your audience (but don't have all of your books free at the same time) and then maybe look at Smashwords after the 90days are up.
Looks like we're both in Victoria, so I'm not sure why the link wasn't working for you. Hopefully it was just a glitch.

Love to chat about amazon/kindle/smashwords/writing - feel free to email and we can meet up for coffee

I end up doing a lot of writing in my current job, which pays, so I'm going to count that as proof of talent!

I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts about using Smashwords for self-publishing in comparison to Amazon and/or Kindle specifically. I'm working on a series of short books (non-fiction) that are in a similar vein to the topics on my blog and will soon need to decide how to get them out there.

FYI the link www.demonsamong.us doesn't seem to be working.
